Coat of Arms of Pontificio Collegio Filippino 


The Filipino Catholic Institution in Rome, Italy is officially named Pontificio Collegio Seminario de Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje (English: Pontifical College Seminary of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage; Latin: Seminarii Sanctae Mariae de Pace, et in Collegio S. Bon Voyage). It is a college for diocesan priests from the Philippines studying at pontifical universities in Rome.

Collegio filippino was formally established as an institution with pontifical rights by Pope John XXIII, on June 29, 1961 through the Papal Bull Sancta Mater Ecclesia.

Blason:

Argent: a fess sinister Azure charged with three mullets Or in between perforation Gules; in Chief a crown proper of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage framed by olive wreath of peace; in base a Spanish Galleon afloat proper. The shield is surmounted by the Papal Tiara and set against the keys Or and argent in saltire position, pointing upward.

Motto: SACERDOTES DOMINI VOCABIMINI ("You yourselves shall be called «Priests of the Lord»." - from Isaiah 61:6)
